He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lucas and Mary Mankevitch Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dunn Lucas of West Chester, PA.; his children, Dr. Karen L. Lucas (Mark Harms), Brian K. Lucas (Shawna) and Andrea L. Lucas (David Schubel); and his grandchildren, Alyssa Lucas, Michelle Lucas, Fiona Harms and Isabel Harms.
