He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Tyson and Catherine Tyson; and his sister Kathleen Leaden. He is survived by: his wife Irene Tyson; his daughters, Dr. Margarete Pierce (James) and Catherine Algard (George); his grandchildren, Laura, James and Connor; and his brother Joseph Tyson.
