He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Coleman and Mercedes Coleman; and his sister Joyce. He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Ginny); his children, Ron Coleman, Jr. (Diane), MJ Sauer (Jeremy) and Glenn Coleman (April); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Jesse, Anya, Declan, Caelin and Connor.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Maris Grove Scholarship Fund for student employees.
