He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Tait Jr. and Mary S. Tait. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Lynn Tait; and his sisters, Gale Koerner (Tait) and Sandy Coombes (Tait). He is also survived by nephews, and niece.
