He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Fries and Margaret Weems Fries. He is survived by: his wife Marie I. Fries; his children, Deborah Krall (Thomas), Patricia Ruggeri (Bruce), Kathleen Bernstein (Marc) and Thomas J. Fries Jr.; his brother Donald Fries; and his grandchildren, Amanda Sherman (Mark), Michael Krall (Cory), Daniel Krall, Nicholas Ruggeri (Monica), Marina Bernstein, Rebecca Krall, Eugene Bernstein, Joelle Ruggeri and Vincent Ruggeri. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
