He was predeceased by: his parents, William E., Sr. and Pansy May Helms; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Helms; and his children, William Helms, III (Mary), Patricia Thornton (Don), David Helms (Joan) and Linda Force (Dennis). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private due to COVID-19 restrictions.
