He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Peters and Myrtle Hopper Peters; and his siblings, Clarence "Skip" Peters, James Peters, William Peters, Gary Peters, Gloria Poff, Dolores McWilliams and Lois Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa McGary Peters; his children, Jeffrey Peters, Jai Peters, Jo Lynn Peters, Jessica Peters and Jake Peters; his grandchildren, Alexandria, Devaughn, Yahliyah, Yashai, Hazel, Jack, Grace, Gavin and Jeffrey; and his siblings, Thomas (Toot), Terry Peters and Karen Neely.
