He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland W. Dedekind and Virginia Dedekind (Buchmann). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Rehrig Dedekind; his children, Jennifer Dedekind of Philadelphia, Christopher Dedekind of San Rafael, CA and Tara (Stephen Armbruster) of Lehighton; his stepchildren, William Bishop (Angie) of Dover, FL., Stephanie (Jimmy Gross) of Orefield, PA., Kelly Bishop (Lori) of Neptune, NJ. and Wade Bishop of Lutz; his siblings, Cynthia Ennis of Reading, PA, Ross and Michael Dedekind of West Lawn, PA; his niece Hilary Deighan; and his nephew Marin Ennis. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
