He was predeceased by: his parents, Neva Geiwitz (Tanner) and George Geiwitz; and his siblings, Leon, Harvey, Don Geiwitz, Neva Montgomery and Alice Shiderly.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Geiwitz (Lehman); his sister Virginia Lehman; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Geiwitz and Martha Geiwitz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
