It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carly Whitney (West Mifflin, Pennsylvania), born in Port Charlotte, Florida, who passed away on November 8, 2018, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her child Mackenzie Carlson; her parents, Marylou Whitney and Jeff Whitney (Dana); her sibling Jennifer Whitney; and her grandparent Irene Deutsch. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Since receiving her double lung transplant in 2017, Carly was a volunteer with the LifeLink Foundation, and was a passionate advocate for organ donation.
