He was predeceased by: his parent Edward Sloss; his son Charles J. Sloss; his grandson Victor C. "Charlie" Boytos; and his brothers, Russell Sloss, Edward Sloss, Robert Sloss, John Sloss and Ronald Sloss.
He is survived by: his parent Violet Sloss (Morgan); his wife Juanita Bickus Sloss; his daughters, Cheryl Stefan (Larry) of West Mifflin, Beverly Seba (John) of West Mifflin, Karen Boytos (Victor) of West Mifflin and Nita Ignat (Richard) of West Mifflin; and his brother Thomas Sloss. He is also survived by children and twenty-four great grandchildren.
