He was predeceased by: his parents, John Michael Zitney, Sr. and Pauline Zitney (Kassa); his wife Mary Zitney (Lapinski); and his siblings, John Zitney, Jr. and Valeria Zitney.
He is survived by: his sister Theresa Henderson of Jefferson Hills, PA; his sons, Dr. Stephen E. Zitney (Ann) of Morgantown, WV and Raymond J. Zitney (Jane) of Massillon, OH; and his grandchildren, David Zitney, Matthew Zitney (Sarah), Sarah Zitney, Michael Zitney, Nichole Coburn, Allison Keaton and Matthew Keaton.
