He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Edith Ann Putanko (Kohut); his parents, John Putanko and Molly Putanko (Marva); and his sister Elaine Valecko of Port Vue. He was also cherished by fifteen nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and nine godchildren.
