He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Hlad; and his siblings, Mary Pachuta (late Michael), Helen Gilliard (late Harry), Anne Merda (late Anthony) and Michael "Minners".
He is survived by: his parent Helen Hlad (Holko); his spouse Cecelia A. Hlad (Rago); his children, Melany Hlad of Pittsburgh, Nadine Winwood (David) of White Oak and Patrice; his grandchildren, Joseph Winwood of Brooklyn, NY and Nicholas Winwood of Manchester, NH; and his sibling Edward Hlad (Carol) of Jefferson Hills. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
