He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Michael L. (Joan E. Schmidt), Sinking Spring, Richard J. Schmidt, Anne M. (Mark Goldman), Chesterbrook and Tracy L. (Paul J. Tibbetts); his grandchildren, Andrea L. (Captain Robert T.), Michelle L. (Rob Case), Matthew M. Schmidt (Melissa High), Manheim, Brandon L. Schmidt (Kaitlyn Kozlowski), Sarah A. Heck, Jessica L. Heck, Justin S. Heck and Emily L. Tibbetts; his great grandchildren, Lyla Rose Rupp, Clara Jane Rupp, Michael M. Schmidt and Mason R. Schmidt; and his siblings, Mary Ann, Carol, Henry and William. He is also survived by husband, father and grandfather, who dedicated much of his life to cutting and selling firewood, something he involved his children.
