He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. George and Minnie George (Grim); his spouse Ardell C. George (Stoyer); his daughter Patricia Ann; his granddaughter Jennifer Marie Neri; and his siblings, William, John, Mark, Claude, David, Mae Mervine, Mabel Weider and Anna Schein.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jane L. (Philip Neri), Mohnton, Lori M. George and Reading. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
