He was predeceased by: his parent Walter Dietz. He is survived by: his parent Esther Lawther Dietz; his children, James Dietz (Marge) of Evans City, Ann Ross (Thomas) of Manteo, NC, Robert Dietz (Maria) of Great Mills, MD and William Dietz of Pittsburgh; and his siblings, Walter "Butch" Dietz (Nancy) of Pittsburgh, Frank Dietz (Debbie) of Pittsburgh, Eleanor Arlet (Wayne) of Pittsburgh and Alice Pietro (David) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, his friend.
