He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie L. Skinner and Veva Horton Skinner; his wife Lynne A. Caulkins; his son James A. Skinner; and his siblings, Fern Skinner, Arlene Houghtaling and Horton L. Skinner.
He is survived by: his daughter Tami V. Carmichael (Jeffrey) of Grand Forks, ND; and his grandson Spencer J. Carmichael. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
