He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Bakowski and Helen Bakowski; his wife Dorothy Bakowski; and his daughter Barbara Jean Bakowski. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Bakowski (Tracy), Paul Bakowski (Lisa) and Thomas Bakowski (Debi). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, loving extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2935 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
