He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Silfies (Mullen) and Claire M. Silfies (Kromer); and his siblings, Charles Silfies, Lee Gruver and Gloria Ebright.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna L. (Daniel Pavlick) of Northampton and Susan K. (Bill Whittaker) of Macungie; his siblings, Jacqueline Street, Elmer Silfies and John Silfies; his grandchildren, Amy Fehnel, Kylee Pavlick, Katie, Tom Adar, Tina and Steve Luettgen; and his great grandchildren, Jadyn, Joey, Tyler, Colette, Audrey, Zach, Caitlin and Nick.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
