She was predeceased by: her parents, William Snyder and Susan Snyder (Klimeck); her husband Richard Shafnisky; and her siblings, William Snyder, Clyde Snyder and Eleanor Webb.

She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Snyder (Gizella) of Catasauqua, PA and Marilyn Sheetz of Catasauqua, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
