He was predeceased by: his sister Karen DiGiannurio (Ralph). He is survived by: his wife Helen Mae Piel (Egler); his children, Brian James Piel (Jill) and Kristin Polochak (Jake); his grandchildren, Carter, Brendan, Jakey, Ava, Jemma and Marco; and his sibling Lynn Moran (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
