He is survived by: his spouse Suzanne; his children, Linda Wieder of St. Michaels, David Ely of Whitehall and Richard; his stepchild Jenna Edwards; his son Scott Ely of Fairview; Charles of St. Michaels and Susan of Fairview. He is also survived by three children blessed him with four grandsons.
