He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Herndon and Ethel Herndon (Rader). He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his brother Thomas; his children, William (Cindy), Barbara and Mary (Josh); his grandchildren, William, Alyssa, Victoria, Stephen and Morgan; his great grandchild Beau; his sister-in-law Barbara Feneis (Tom); and his pet Toby.
