He was predeceased by: his father Clyde C. Hankey; his wife Darlene Kay Hankey (Adams); and his brother Eugene E. Hankey, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Charles C. Hankey (Malinda) of Derry, Tina M. Culler (Robert) of Latrobe, Leona Fay Kirkling (Michael) of Greensburg, Randolph S. Hankey (Becky) of Whitney and Brandy K. Horner (Todd) of Latrobe; his brothers, Robert Hankey of McKeesport and Clyde Hankey (Pat) of Florida; his grandchildren, Tonya, Timothy (Mallori), Breann (Brian), Jessica (Maelo), Ashley, Michalene, Marissa, Devin (Kayla), Keeley, Hanna (Kyle) and Dawson; his great grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Maisie, Zoah, Nicholas, Brexton, Nevaeh, Amara, Averie, Bradley, Isaiah, Laquanda, Meeka, Ciara, Leneil, Messiah, Ronan and Helena; and his pets, Brutus, Hank and Bella. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
