She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Shemerl and Mary Shemerl (Marolt); her husband John J. Gratcar; her daughter Monica Smith; and her siblings, Jerry Shemerl and Jean Melko.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Bill Smith of Latrobe; her granddaughter Stephanie Smith of Latrobe; and her siblings, Edward Shemerl of Ohio, Alice Martincic of Ohio and Ellanore Belote of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
