He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Strait and Madeline K. Strait (Marks) of West Mifflin; his brother John W. Strait Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Strait (Ron) and Denny Whitcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Strait (Horsman); his son Nathan Strait (Ashley) of Widnoon; his grandchildren, Ady, Zailya, Bennett and Silvia; his siblings, Ronald Strait of Elizabeth, PA, Cheri Kay Whitcomb of Bethel Park, Carol Shaffer (Bill) of Ohio and Kim Kimak-Oates; and his pets, Diesel, Sammy and Susie.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Mark's name to the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter in Kittanning, or the Hartford Heights Volunteer Fire Department.
