He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Ellis and Bernadine Mooney Ellis; and his sister-in-law Amy Ellis. He is survived by: his children, Zachary Ellis and Mallory Ellis; the mother of his children Lori Ellis; his close friend Nathaly Pinales; his siblings, Lee Ann Shovlin (John) and Joseph Ellis (Doreen); his siblings' children, Kelcie Shovlin, Joseph Ellis and Sarah Vecerkauskas; and his pet Otto. He is also survived by his aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home (89 Park Ave, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
