Frances Catherine Grogan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2025, at the age of 89, Frances Catherine Grogan of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Luby and Agnes Luby; her husband James E. Grogan Sr.; and her siblings, Jack Luby, Joan Wende, Nan Height, James Luby and Cecilia Cooney.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Grogan of Wilkes-Barre, James E. Grogan Jr. (Tidawan) of Chino Hills, CA, Brenda Nowalis of Wilkes-Barre and Catherine Avillion (Dean) of White Haven; her grandchildren, Alyssa Schmoll, Lauren Estock, Francesca Grogan, Sarah Nowalis and Joshua Gallagher; her great grandchildren, Gabriella Schmoll, Pippa Estock and Aydin Aksoy; and her sister Patricia Nestor of Middletown, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
