She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Goldowski and Anna Goldowski; her husband Andrew Steransky; her son Joseph; and her siblings, Frank, Joseph, Theodore, Ed, John, Henry, Phyllis, Elizabeth and Helen.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew (Mary Jean) of Centermoreland, JoAnn Protheroe (Kurt) of Kulpmont, Dawn Chimel (Anthony) of Fort Myers and Christine Steransky of Kulpmont. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Yeosock Funeral Home (40 S Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Marsh Cemetery.
