She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Wilson and Noval Wilson; her husband Thomas Scalfer; her former husband Edmund Gilroy; her son Edmund Gilroy; her grandchildren, Charlie and Keith Gilroy Jr.; and her son-in-law James Bono.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene (Thomas Mapes), Barbara Bono (Glenn), Keith (Kryssy Gilroy), Patrick Gilroy (Rhonda), Michael Gilroy and Jacqueline (Kenny Price). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren along with 54 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
