She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Gagatek and Margaret Fay Gagatek; her former husbands, Oscar J. Kroll Jr. and Thomas Doty; her husband William Carl Swanson; her brother Edward Gagatek (Rita); and her brother-in-law Albert Danouski.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Kroll Magistro (Frank) of Forty Fort and Garry A. Kroll (Ann Maria) of Wilkes-Barre; her grandchildren, Melissa MacNeely (Michael), Carmen Magistro (Meighan), Kaitlyn Jurbala (William), Kara Kroll, Garry A. Kroll Jr. (Kylie Hughes) and Nicole Maple; her great grandchildren, Camryn, Michael Jr., Andrew MacNeely, Frankie, Roman, Luca, Maxwell Magistro, Theo, Tatum and Gianna Kroll; and her siblings, Marlene Danouski and Thomas Gagatek (Carol). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas-St. Mary Parish (226 S Washington St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
