He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cronauer and Mildred Miller Cronauer; his former wife Nancy Basler Cronauer; his wife Mary Ellen McCabe Woods; his brothers, Clarence and Robert Cronauer; his siblings-in-law, Claude, Joseph, Matthew Basler and Marion Basler; and his stepchildren-in-law, Sandy Woods and Neil Wolsieffer.
He is survived by: his children, Judith Belles, Raymond F. Cronauer Jr., Naples, Barbara Krieger (Rob), Rick Cronauer (Lynne), Daniel Cronauer (Michelle), Karen Pavlichko, Dallas, Maury Steinkirchner (Michael), Nancy Hooper (Brian) and Ocean Pines, MD; his sister Mary DeLong (John); and his stepchildren, Mary Beth Kenny (Tom), Charlestown, MD, Nancy Atherton (James), Raymond Woods (Gina), Sharon Lavan (Brian) and Dr. Michael Woods (Mary Jo). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
