It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophie Richwalder of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milan Sokolovich and Sophie Sokolovich; her husband John; and her siblings, Peter, Milan, Nicholas, Marie and Stacia.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Richwalder (Gloria) and John Richwalder; her grandchildren, Michael, Matt and Tara; her great grandchildren, Baxter and Addalyn; and her sister Dorothy Price. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the E. Blake Collins Funeral Home (159 George Ave, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705).
