She was predeceased by: her parents, George "Red" Walters and Helen Walters (Shively); her sisters, Shirley Keiter (Jim) and Ruth Frank; her son-in-law Bob Sutton; her brother-in-law Richard Scheuermann; and her husband Richard Nicholas DeRenzis, Sr..
She is survived by: her sisters, Nancy Scheuermann and Carol Toto (George); her brother-in-law Bill Frank; and her children, Kathleen Prendergast (Kevin), Linda Sutton, Gail Stahley (Jack), Rick DeRenzis (Margie) and Nancy Amato (Nat). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
