He was predeceased by : his parent Albert C. Stopper; and his sister Jean (Ray Bastian). He is survived by : his parent Anna Stopper (Deitrick); his brother Jimmy Stopper (Eleanor) of Williamsport; his children, Denny Stopper (Margie), Debbie Stopper, Cindy Datres (Lynn), David Stopper (Suzanne) and Lisa Stopper-Gee (Hal); his grandchildren, Aimee Born (Ted), Stephen Stopper, Lindsey Stopper, Kelli Datres-McCarthy (Kevin), Kory Datres (Carnie), Kerri Jacobson (Curtis), Kyle Datres, Michael Stopper, Brian Stopper, Marcus Stopper, Samantha Stopper, Zachary Stopper, Kayla Gee, Derek Gee, Cassie Gee and Tyler Gee; and his great grandchildren, Rhett Datres, Hagen Datres, Tess Datres and Kaylie McCarthy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport.
