He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. and Anna Hauck, Sr. (Matthews); and his brother Bobbie Hauck. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn (Shipton); and his children, John F. Hauck, II, James Hauck (Holly) of South Carolina, Christopher Crosley of Central Square, NY and Teena Rood (Raymond) of Erie. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
