He was predeceased by: his parents, David Poretta and Assunta Poretta (DiRocco); and his wife Florence J. Dymeck. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Sterner of Pottsville, David Poretta of Jersey Shore and Christina Engel of Turbotville; and his sister Filitea Dean. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Susquehanna Health Foundation for the benefit of Family Hospice, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport PA 17701.
