She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Leslie Willing, Sr. and Eunice Belle Willing (Newberry); her husband Mendal Forrest VanValin; and her siblings, Mary Pickard, Eunice Pickard of Tulsa and Joseph L. Willing Jr. of Anchorage, AK..
She is survived by: her children, Mark and Kristin Ivers (Karl); her grandchildren, Kevin Ivers (Dawn) and Karilyn Tracy (Travis); her great grandchild Tucker Philip Tracy; and her sisters-in-law, Susanne Heisey and Margaret "Peggy" Willing. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
