She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Neyhart and Nellie Neyhart (Hartnett); her husband John James "Shorty" Szybist; and her siblings, Howard "Bud" Neyhart, Madeline and Patricia (Isabel).

She is survived by: her children, John Szybist (Joan Aiello), Donna Mays (Mark), Linda Szybist and Thomas Szybist (Judy); her grandchildren, Kevin, Jane, Jeffrey and Brian; and her sister Dorothy of Radnor, PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
