She was predeceased by: her husband Richard J. Carey; and her parents, George Cheatle and Magdalene Cheatle (Herzing). She is survived by: her siblings, Robertt, Louis, Philip, Hilary Cheatle, Dolores Morgan, Isabelle Kozen, Veronica Rose and Bertha Cheatle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
