The world bids farewell to William Bruce Davenport Jr. of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, born in Tioga, Pennsylvania, departing peacefully on April 21, 2024 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by : his parents, William, Sr. Davenport and Sarah Davenport (Saunders); his wife Madeline Davenport (Yetz); his stepdaughter JoAnn Lenahan; and his siblings, David Davenport and Emily Harrington.

He is survived by : his children, Crystal D. Michael (George) of Williamsport, Deborah J. Tully of Williamsport and William Davenport, III of Cogan Station; his stepchildren, Ronald Traver of South Carolina and Francis Traver of New York; his brother Raymond Davenport of Lewisburg; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Davenport of Massachusetts. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; as well as several great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sanders Mortuary (821 Diamond St, Williamsport, PA 17701). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery (342 South Ave. Poughkeepsie, PA 12601).
