He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert Johnson and Helen Mooney Johnson; and his wife Tania Carl Johnson. He is survived by : his children, Tricia M. Pannebacker (Aaron) and Douglas "DJ" Johnson, Jr.; his stepgranddaughter Jilia Pannebaker; and his brothers, Brad Johnson, Steve Johnson and Tim Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
