She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonas Marshall Newman and Annie Newman Darnell; and her brothers, Calvin Newman, Berkeley "George", James Newman, Foster and Donnie King.
She is survived by: her siblings, Harold, Linda Wood of Lake Worth and Richard Newman of Vinton, Virginia; her children, Phillip Tuck (Tressa) of Nashville, Tennessee, Sandra Finch (Stan) of Altavista, Virginia and David Tuck (Barbara) of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania; and her grandchildren, Chris Tuck, Sullivan Tuck, Michael Finch, Zack Tuck, Madison Tuck Moore and Courtney Tuck. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In leu of flowers, the family request donations to The Alzheimer's Foundation of America and/or The Memorial Fund of First Baptist Church of Altavista, VA.
