He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Carte and Charlotte Carte. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou (Johnson); his children, Priscilla Allen of Nazareth, Mary Ellen Whistler (Matthew) of Pen Argyl and Matthew Cate of Valier, PA; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Cameron, Carter and Colton. He is also survived by father and grandfather to his two daughters, son, and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Faith Alive Community Church, Missions Account, 10 E. Mechanic St., Wind Gap, PA 18091. Donations will fund mission efforts in the Dominican Republic.
