She was predeceased by: her parents, Susano Nuñez and Domitila Nuñez (Ruiz); and her husband Emigdio Ruiz. She is survived by: her children, Jim (Kelli), Elena Ruiz and Celia Halkovich (Mike); her grandsons, Joshua, Jeremy and Jordan; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Jarrett and Lyanna. She is also survived by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
