It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Allen Switzer of Worthington, Pennsylvania, born in Fairmount City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Vincent and Mary Elizabeth Switzer (Young); and his siblings, Lillan Switzer, Doris Shovestull, Shirley Weaver, Vincent Switzer and Arnold Switzer.

He is survived by : his children, James A. Switzer, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Kittanning, Julie A. Beckley (Michael) of Smithton and Jennifer A. Stephens (Britton Grimes) of Yukon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and six great- grandchildren.
