He is survived by: his parent Ella M. Kemp (Fritz); his wife Westerns; his children, Richard (Frances) and Maryanne; his grandchildren, Steven R. Kemp, Heather Murray, Tyler R. Simons and David Simons Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Kemp, Mary Jane Stieff and Anna Eiffert.
