He was predeceased by: his parents, George L., Sr. and Agnes Sexton (Charleston); and his sister Kathryn "Kay" McGuire. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Sexton (Hoch); his children, Cynthia Miller, Anne Henderson (William), George L. Sexton, III and Jennifer L. Sexton; and his stepchildren, Jeffrey Stapleton (Debra), Dean Stapleton (Terry), Jennifer Hedl (William), Michelle Lambert, Eric Irey (Donna) and Sean Irey (Jennifer). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
