He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gembe and Lottie Gembe (Grove). He is survived by: his wife Mildred V. Gembe (Chronister); his children, Charles L. Gembe (Sarah) of York Springs and Donna M. Green of York Springs; and his grandchildren, Darryl Green, Daphne Leedy (Tom), Sharon Mentzer (Jeff), Dean Green and Christopher Gembe (Stacie). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
